SEAKING
GRAPHIC DESIGN | USER EXPERIENCE | GAME DESIGN
An excitement board game in which players must explore the ocean floor in search of treasures and compete with one another using memory and touch.
Its design encompasses a wide range of creative skills, materials, shapes and colors in order to create a multisensorial experience, from the power of touch to the ability to observe.
Apart from including cards and references that raise awareness about ocean waste, the main hidden objective of the game is to make visible the importance of corals in the marine world, playing a key part in the dynamics of the game. All this sends us a clear message: “the sea is a treasure”
GRACIAS POR CONECTARNOS
SCULPTURE | MADRID | COVID-19
The Madrid metro lines are illuminated in the “Oso y el madroño” design to thank all the workers who made it possible for us to stay connected during the pandemic.
The design won second prize in the “Muchas Gracias, Madrid!” contest to honor workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, it was made into a sculpture and an exhibition was organized at the Matadero in Madrid along with other designs. El País sponsored my design and it is currently at the headquarters of Metro de Madrid.
DAY OF DISABILITY
BOOKCOVER DESIGN | SOCIAL | CITY HALL
Design of a bookmark for the day of the disabled in my hometown: Tres Cantos. The design based on the TETRIS game reinforces the message that in my city everyone fits in, no matter the condition. Tres Cantos is an inclusive city that breaks down barriers so that everyone can live fully it.
The design won the first prize in the adult category so it was printed and marked in Braille language so that every citizen can use it.
PENGUIN BOOK COVERS
CHILDREN | FICTIONAL | NON FICTIONAL
Cover design of three books for the Penguin Random House Cover Design Award.
The children’s book is Talking Turkeys by Benjamin Zephaniah, the adult fiction book is Cosmicomics by Italo Calvino and finally the adult non-fiction book is The Uninhabitable Earth by David Wallace-Wells.
CATA LA LATA
PACKAGING | SEAFOOD | CAN DESIGN
In this canned fish packaging design contest I have participated in several editions with the following designs:
2021 – Open The Can: a packaging design that revolves around the fish and seafood the can hides inside through the ring of the can itself, which acts as a magnifying glass.
2022 – The Wellness Can: The tin as a wellness space where the canned food, personified, from Cata La Lata enjoy a moment of well-being that is transmitted to our palate.
ECO POSTERS
ECOLOGICAL | POSTER DESIGN | FILM FESTIVAL
Poster design for an ecological event: ECOZINE Film Festival. These posters reflect the impact of human beings on the environment in two different scenes.
In the first poster, the plastic waste in the oceans, represented by film strips, envelops the marine fauna until it suffocates. In the second, similarly, the waste, this time represented by a film camera, reaches the stomachs of birds.
B&W LOGOS
BRAND | FUSION | LOGO DESIGN
Collection of black and white logos that merge two elements, beings or properties and play with the contrast between them.
YOUR PORTION OF SPAGHETTI
PACKAGING | CARTONBOARD | ITALIAN
Design of a sustainable packaging for the Pro Carton Young Design Award contest, in which, using only cardboard, I designed this packaging for spaghetti with the extra functionality of being able to measure the exact amount of spaghetti you need for 1, 2 or 3 people (or more, combining these measures).
Graphic design inspired by the colors of the Italian flag and sustainable solution that reduces the use of plastic of traditional spaghetti packaging.
TERRAS GAUDA
POSTER DESIGN | WINE | GALICIA
Poster design for the Terras Gauda contest, Francisco Mantecón to which I present a graphic poster in which the wine bottles enclose a glass and another photographic composition in which the grapes illuminate the way in the dark night of the sea.
Reflection of the white wines of Albariño variety: Terras Gauda and Abadía de San Campio and the corporate identity of the wineries close to the fishing life, marine and grape fields.
