Craft DESIGN

SUSH-IDO

WOODWORKING | ASSIGNMENT | CULTURAL DESIGN

Project in collaboration with a restaurant in the Lavapiés district of Madrid where I had to make a christmas ornament for the Japanese restaurant Su&Si.

It was the first project that opened the way for me to manufacturing processes and the work experience since I was able to collaborate with a real restaurant to meet their needs, adapt to the theme and generate minimal waste during the design process.

RUMMIKUB

MOULD DESIGN | CONCRETE CASTING | 3D PRINTING

A fusion of modern manufacturing techniques (3D printing) with the ancient craft casting.

“The valkyries in nordic mythology were warrior women of great strength and beauty.“

Inspired by these divinities these concrete candle holders have emerged from no less than Valhalla, reflecting a firm character and simplifying the female figure to contemporary aesthetic forms to create a cozy and powerful atmosphere inside the home.

BAG-A-MASK

REUSE | AWARENESS INITIATIVE | COVID DESIGN

An awareness-raising project that works like a beach bag made from the rubber bands of 230 covid masks.

The bag was exhibited in the CirculArt recycled art exhibition, as it was a finalist in the competition.

With it, an initiative was born: re_mask, which aims to explore possible applications of mask rubber bands through social networks and show their impact on the environment.

VALKIRIA

MOULD DESIGN | CONCRETE CASTING | 3D PRINTING

A fusion of modern manufacturing techniques (3D printing) with the ancient craft casting.

“The valkyries in nordic mythology were warrior women of great strength and beauty.“

Inspired by these divinities these concrete candle holders have emerged from no less than Valhalla, reflecting a firm character and simplifying the female figure to contemporary aesthetic forms to create a cozy and powerful atmosphere inside the home.

RECYCLED FURNITURE

REUSE | TRASH FURNITURE | TYRES

A collection of furniture made from scraps found in street containers that not only are functional, but also reflect the importance of recycling.

“To give a new life to garbage, not to generate more waste and to take advantage of what we already have.”

From this initiative was created DRAWAIR (a chair with shoe compartment), a double workspace and dressing room from a bunk bed and BOOGIE (a mirror table with 80’s style from a tire) among other compositions.

PALMTREE COLLECTION

WASTE DESIGN | HANDMADE | NATURAL MATERIAL

Collection of bowls made from palmtree leaves waste that makes natural resources visible as an opportunity to create and not as a waste to be disposed of.

These handmade containers made by molding the leaves serve as fruit bowls, bread baskets or to store whatever you want. They also have a unique and rustic style that gives value to the natural.
